Two years ago straight-A student, Breann LaManna of Bayville, was active in cheerleading, dance and swimming. Her world was turned
upside-down when she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a rare form of childhood cancer. She has endured 7 ½ rounds of
chemotherapy and 14 of radiation for her inoperable condition. Now this 11-year-old is home and hoping to be healthy enough to rejoin her classmates. She still has a 4-cm mass of scar tissue over her heart, but no active cancer is evident.

Her family includes two brothers, ages 13 and 2, along with her mother and father – who has been dedicated to Breann’s healing while helping
raise the family and therefore has not worked until recently – but is now out because of a disability. More than $140,000 in out-of-pocket
