Chiropractic Serves As Solution To Tennis Elbow

Q:   I am an avid tennis player but have been hampered by severe tennis elbow as of recent.

I have tried ointments and every Tennis Elbow support on the market, still without relief.

Is there anything a chiropractor can do?

A:   Yes, chiropractic is very beneficial for most Tennis Elbow conditions.  “Tennis Elbow”,

also known as elbow tendinities or epicondylits means there is an inflammation in the area where a tendon attaches one of the forearm muscle to the bone of the upper arm.

Symptoms include inflammation, elbow pain, and wrist weakness.  You don’t have to play tennis to get Tennis Elbow.  Many cumulative traumas are the result of repetitive motions in sports such as tennis and golf.  These game repetitive motions may be performed in workplace, office or factory.  Tennis Elbow can recur because there is not sufficient nerve supply necessary to rebuild healthy elbow tissue. Misalignment of the relationship of the two forearm and upper arm bones can also create the same inflammatory process.

Chiropractors work to restore normal blood supply that helps the healing process and will educate you in proper stretching and strengthening techniques.  Some patients require supportive devices to minimize discomfort during or when away from their activity which re-creates the condition.
