Steven J. Pollack, D.C., P.A.
Dr. Steven Pollack has a passion for chiropractic
and truly loves his patients to health. Dr. Pollack is committed to service
and respect for his staff and patients. He did his undergraduate studies
at New York Institute of Technology, Westbury, Long Island and his graduate
studies at the Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Pollack
graduated cum laude and received awards in clinical proficiency. He was
also a member of the championship basketball and tennis teams.
He did Post-graduate Studies in Physical
Therapy at Brenau College, Athens, Georgia. Dr. Pollack has more than 300
hours completed in Applied Kinesiology and in 1996 became one of the first
certified chiropractic-pediatric physicians in the U.S. He is a founding
member of the I.C.P.A., the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association,
and the C.C.P., the Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics.
Dr. Pollack began his career at Tall Pines
Chiropractic Center, New Brunswick, New Jersey, the largest center in New
Jersey at that time. He then was on staff of a chiropractic center in Lakewood,
New Jersey before opening his own practice in Beachwood, New Jersey in
1983. He also co-directs the Beachwood Low Back Rehab Center with Dr. Frank
Lee, M.D. The clinic has successfully treated more than 2000 patients for
severe lumbar spine disc disorders non-surgically.
Dr. Pollack is a national keynote speaker
and was honored by the NJ JAYCEES with its prestigious Ten Outstanding
Citizens of New Jersey Award in 1995. Dr. Pollack is a regular guest speaker
for civic groups, colleges, high schools and elementary schools. He donates
his time to screen hundreds of pre-schoolers for scoliosis every year.
Dr. Pollack is a published writer in the health field. His "Ask the Chiropractor" column has been published in Ocean County newspapers for more than
seven years.
Dr. Pollack lives with his wife, Patty, and four children, Cody, 17, Brandon, 15, Kayla, 12, and Kyle, 9.
